Finding the beauty at your feet
In the Adirondacks for fall colors I found myself with little to photograph as the sunlight became harsh. Hiking various trails it became obvious I needed to look no further than my feet to find beauty in the forest floor.
Mushrooms.
I know little about them and wouldn't eat one that didn't come from a grocery store.
My Olympus camera has a feature called "Focus Stacking" that, while I had used it before, I had never had such an opportunity to try different settings within the feature. Now was my chance. Mushrooms were quite abundant and the light was great.
Here are some of the results. Enjoy. I used an Olympus OMD-M1X and 12-100mm PRO lens.
